Religion gives limited freedom to franchise self in merits with righteousness,

One cannot kill fellow beings in the name of religion, One may help one another through the media of religion, 

Religion is basically meant to drive life in truth with ethical and moral living, indeed in the core of life especially for men being in highly evolved bodies in truth with faculties,
