The enlighten event of the fortnight is not far away from here,

It is Sri Basant Panchami, Sri Saraswati Jayanti, 

Indeed a truth to rejoice eternally in spirit with for the cause eternal,

A day which may dispel the dark of ages,

Sri Basant Panchami, Today, the appearance day of Goddess Saraswati, indeed a day to revere the lotus feet of mother that giver of light eternal, the giver of wisdom of light to enlighten the truth of self and the life, indeed a day to adore the lotus feet of mother that limit of compassion and mercy and a day to greet the pollen like dust of the lotus feet of my preceptor, refulgent, fragrant and flavored with love, indeed it is a lovely powder of the life giving herb, which allays the host of all the attendant ills of mundane Existence, I bow my head in the lotus feet of My Mother again and again,

And the day is known for the worship of truth in the name of Mother Saraswati,

Mother Saraswati, the goddess of light and knowledge, The goddess that leads spirit from forefront to light from dark of ignorance,

Salutation to you Mother, the infinite beauty of truth that cares man,

Salutation to you Mother, the infinite light the enlighten the both worlds,

Salutation to you Mother, the sole substratum of the world because mother subsist in the form of knowledge and skill,

Salutation to you Mother, the true source of knowledge and skill in the universe,

Salutation to you Mother, the gracious one who shower her grace on one and all whosoever take refuge in,

Mother has helped infinite students to reach at their designated goal,

Mother has helped infinite aspirants on the path to truth to reach at self,

Mother, O Thou art the only ship, to ferry across the earthly sea,

O great mother, be my salutation ever to thee, please accept my humble homage on the occasion,
