The individuality of the soul is the truth like the broad daylight of the sun, yet night follows to dilute the truth of this referral condition, 

Atman and Parmatman are basically one in the charter, Parmatman is the universal truth with multifacet shadows in the name of Atman that many in aspects,

Atman can never attain its sole isolation in any case, rather can never exist of its own without being party to Parmatman, 

Yet differentiation relates it in truth with individuality being atman that embodied in subtle truth of mind, intellect, and Ego, these three in the truth of trinity impart atman a status of individuality that fluctuates in truth with fate and destiny on the pitch of mind which woven a net to bind soul with Maya,
