I bow to Shiva, I bow down to Lord Shiva, the abode of Girija's joy,

The God of gods, the five facet one, granter of all desires to those who have taken refuge in him,

Destroyer of sin, and the lord of universe, 

The destroyer of all kinds of poverty and misries,
