Once upon a time, Sri Rama-spoke in words which were not only soft and pleasing but profound at the same time, Kakabhusandi, ask of me a boon, knowing me to be highly pleased with you, be it mystic powers, fabulous wealth and final beatitude, i am prepare to give you all, on hearing it, he replied, O My Lord, tree of paradise to the devotees, friend of suppliant, ocean of compassion and abode of bliss, IN YOUR MERCY GRAND ME THAT DEVOTION TO YOUR FEET, UNINTERRUPTED AND UNALLOYED, WHICH VEDAS AND PURANAS EXTOL, WHICH IS SOUGHT AFTER BY SAGES AND GREAT YOGIS BUT ATTAINED BY FEW AND THAT TOO BY THE LORD'S GRACE, so be it, said Sri Rama,
